At St. Rose of Lima, the mission of our weekly prayer group is to provide prayerful opportunities for each of us to develop a loving personal relationship with Jesus Christ by inspiring devotion to the Blessed Mother, the saints, participation in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and reception of the sacraments.

We believe that to fully understand and incorporate these special gifts into our lives, "EDUCATION IS FUNDAMENTAL!" We accomplish this through the use of programs such as:

• The Message of Divine Mercy (Fr. Michael Gaitley)
• 33 Days of Morning Glory (Fr. Michael Gaitley)
• Jesus Revealed (St. Benedict Press)
• The Beatitudes (St. Benedict Press)

The Prayer Shawl Ministry meets weekly at St. Rose of Lima and will be knitting and crocheting prayer shawls, lap robes for the wheelchair-bound, baby blankets for Casa de Vita, hats for the homeless, and newborn caps. You do not have to know how to knit or crochet - we will teach you.

The Mercy Angels Prayer Group meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month in Mary's Chapel at 5:00 pm to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet for the sick, dying, or those in hospice. All are welcome. For more information, contact the Parish Office at 775-851-1874.

Meets alternating Wednesdays twice a month in the evening from 7:00 - 8:00 PM in the Flocchini Education Building.
