The Bishop has asked all parishes in the Diocese of Reno to add a family component to every religious education program.
Research shows that the single most important factor to a child remaining in their Catholic faith is
the faith of the parents.
All programs matter little if the faith is not practiced at home.
The twelve-hour FAMILY activity guideline, is to keep the families involved in parish life.
We call this the Divine Dozen.
Divine Dozen is twelve hours of activities AT ST ROSE OF LIMA PARISH, with the family (or at least the student and a parent/guardian.)
All families must attend at least one hour of Adoration (offered the third Tuesday of every month, at 5:30pm, and every First Friday)
The many Divine Dozen opportunities offered are:
